Calligraphy and Traditional Paintings
The talented, versatile Mr. Keten is always experimenting with different media but he always keeps the roots of Anatolia and the Ottoman Empire in his art.
His art consists of Ottoman Sultans tugras (monograms) and Turkish calligraphy art which can be seen on silk or canvas; his whirling dervishes paintings are on canvas, silk or leaves; his Ottoman era flower paintings are on silk fabric accented with gold paint.
Mr. Keten’s works have been shown in Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Germany (Hamburg-Berlin), Italy, Sultanate of Oman, Singapore, Indonesia, and Austria (Vein).
