ANBAR was created with the hope of educating art lovers to embrace the cultural richness and creativity of the mystic essence of art which began in the land of Anatolia - where East meets West.

Lutfiye Anbar Gokcen has always had an appreciation for the pure form of early Ottoman era art mixed with Selcuk's, central Asian, and Middle Eastern art. She contrived this venture in 2007 so she could share this admiration of such a specific art form with those around her.
